Kate Campbell represents clients in a wide array of complex litigation and advisory matters, including class actions, labor and employment litigation, SEC enforcement actions and investigations, real estate disputes, and copyright, trademark and intellectual property matters. Ms. Campbell holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional/US certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals and advises clients on data privacy and security matters.
Prior to joining Gass Weber Mullins LLC, Ms. Campbell practiced in the litigation departments of top firms in Washington, D.C., Chicago, Illinois, and Los Angeles, California. Ms. Campbell has extensive experience in deceptive trade practice claims, the Lanham Act and the False Claims Act. She has represented a major U.S. defense contractor and several national and multinational manufacturers of consumer products. She also has experience in product liability cases, including representing a large medical device manufacturer in numerous matters.
Ms. Campbell is a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Law and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Pomona College. While a student at USC School of Law, she was the Executive Senior Editor of the Southern California Law Review. She was also a judicial extern for the Honorable Stephen Hillman of the U S. District Court, Central District of California, and Vice President of the Women’s Law Association.
Ms. Campbell is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin, Illinois, California, the District of Columbia and Virginia.
